Hello and happy Friday! Welcome to The Week in Tweets, a recap of some of the things I found interesting in my web travels.
Sports
Monday was Jackie Robinson Day around the Major Leagues and the movie 42 opened last week. Here was a rather apropos tweet from Mark Feinsand:
Here’s a cool graphic on the last player to wear No. 42 for every MLB team: flipflopflyin.com/flipflopflybal…

Really interesting to take a look back at all the players who wore the number 42 the various teams. Had no idea that Mariano Rivera of the Yankees still wears the number.
Technology
Technology has become commonplace in our day-to-day activities. The problem is that many people still aren’t properly recycling the old technology or e-waste.

That’s a pretty chilling infographic that illustrates the problem.
Speaking of advances in technology:

Productivity
Lifehacker had a great piece about curing boredom at work:

I think we’ve all been there at one point or another. Not sure #1 is the answer unless things are really bad.
And here are three of my favorite productivity tools:

Health
And here was something that kind of bothered me for obvious reasons:
Well, this isn’t what I wanted to hear: Bald? You may be more at risk for heart disease. jgalm.com/16CgdOh

Bald may be beautiful, but it comes at a price apparently. Good thing I’ve been eating healthier and working out several times a week.
Conclusion
There’s my review of a few of the great things I discovered during my weekly web travels.
