In case you missed it, Milwaukee Brewers baseball superstar Ryan Braun was suspended for the remainder of the 2013 MLB season for his involvement with a clinic that provided performance enhancing drugs to star athletes. The fact that he didn't appeal the suspension speaks volumes as to whether or not he cheated. And his apology sounded very contrived. It’s Baseball Season: 3 Awesome Apps for the Ultimate MLB Fan

With the return of Major League Baseball comes the return of youthful optimism for many of us, carrying with it dreams of our hometown (or favorite) teams making the playoffs for a run toward the Fall Classic. Unlike other sports, the MLB season lasts in excess of six months providing ample opportunity for us fans to follow our teams throughout the season. For some of us, it can be a very long season while for others, it is filled with the competitive excitement that is baseball and its pennant chase. Since my favorite team is the San Diego Padres, I have a feeling I'm going to be in for a long season. I digress. In any event, regardless of your team loyalties, there are many ways to connect and follow your favorite teams.
