Evernote recently introduced the ability to add reminders to your notes. Lots of people I know will be using this feature to keep track of their to do lists and other tasks. But there are also other ways you can make use of the new reminders function in Evernote. Using Evernote as an Always Up-to-Date Gift Registry

Using Evernote as a Gift List Unfortunately for me, my birthday and the Christmas holiday are within a week of one another. Every year around the same time, usually a week or two before Thanksgiving, I get the same request from members of family, “Can you send me what you want for your birthday / Christmas list?”

I used to send them a blanket email with some items that were copied and pasted from my Amazon wish list, which wasn’t exactly a great way  of managing what I wanted. I mean, what’s to keep different family members from buying the same thing? At least if they bought it directly off the Amazon wish list, the item would be marked as purchased.

I finally got smart and created a perpetual gift list registry using Evernote. Below I’ll explain how it works and how to set it up.
